can you put a towbar on the back of a cupra ?

can you put a towbar on the back of a cupra ? i'm currently looking at Golf GTi's but the Cupra is sooo cheap it would be rude not to consider one. The only downside is i'd prefer a 3 door not so much for looks but because of my height i tend to sit in the back. Anyway towbars, its not for a caravan but at some point i want to get a boat/jetski and altough I can borrow a freelander it would be nice to be able to move it myself.

No idea about the tow bar btw, although I'm sure somebody has fitted one on here, probably as long as it's not a shoddy K1. (/runs)

The link above Warren that Bedlam posted show's a detachable tow bar. Looks very neat. I was led to believe that it wasn't possible on a Cupra, but as far as I'm aware they are the same the FR and Cupra at the back end.

oh it would deffo be a dettachable one !!! some cars you can have towbars on others don't get type approved, like the Focus you can have a towbar on any focus except the ST, although it will physically fit its not approved, i guess the new RS would be the same.

only the cool guys have K1's. The standard cupra is nice at the front but the back end is too boring.

K1 is just the best!

Never ever would have a towbar on the back of a car! But a jeep or van if you want to tow.

I can borrow a freelander if I want to but sometimes it would be nice to use my own car, not that I own a boat yet.
