Weird boost problem

Hey guys my 90bhp Leon is sitting over 150BHP remap upgraded clutch injectors/nozzles, air intake,FMIC ect but is still running the standard turbo.

My problem is when im in any gear if I gun it the boost gauge goes to near 2bar for about 2-5 seconds and then drops down to 1.4 to 1.5 bar , but when its up about 2bar its not actually boosting anyware near that it feels groggy would make you think the handbrake is on until it drops down again.

So far its not the Map as I have the old one that worked fine uploaded and it was the same,Waste gate actuator was recently changed as it wasn't holding vacuum inside it (diaphragm ripped?) according to Vagcom everything is fine there is no error codes everything appears to be working fine (I didn't do the logs myself had a guy at OBD autotune do them) anyone have any ideas of what this could be ?

Thanks Leeroy

I had a similar problem when i was running standard boopst hoses and what was actually happening on the overboost (which most turbo cars have when you first floor it) there was that much pressure it was actually easing the pipes open ever so slighly but enough to let the pressure go therefore the car didn't go straight away but I was running a fair bit more than 2 bar and i could hear that it was happening. Also agreeing with cheshire cat though seems like alot from the turbo your running

Its not actually maped to 2 bar the map should be putting it to 1.5/6bar then back down to about 1.4. no matter what map the car is on its doing this

sounds like you need a boost valve, which despite the name is intended to limit boost and is adjustable to suit you could even lake you own if you have access to small pipe fittings , aball bearing and a small spring cheers Nic

would this be the N75 valve or is this another one?
