Howdy fellas, you'll have to forgive me. I know bugger all about cars and modding. :help:

I've got a 1.6 stylance, just added some fr bumpers looks the daddy. I want to put some bigger alloys on to make it look better. (only got standard 16"s on)

Was thinking of 17" VW Eos style, what do you think?

Would i have to change anything if i put 18" on there?

Any advice would be very welcome!!! :)

I put 18" rs4's onto my 1.6 emocion, the ride is slightly harder but thats to be expected with more of the tyre on the road and shorter tyrewall.

Bigger wheels

Hiya Peppermuncher,

Our Leon FR has got the 18" Andromeda option ticked and while the ride can be bumpy, it's not painful to the point of bones breaking. The ride on yours should be better than that of ours as the suspension should play its part as well. And the 18" alloys do look the business... :D

17"s are the wheel supplied with the Fr and I have some for a sensible offer+shocks and springs for a full Fr conversion.

None of the Leons (apart from the K1) come with skirts as standard - so it would like fine without skirts fitted
