you can get a set of FR+ alloys (17" version of the cupra r alloys) and the 312mm conversion is simple, just the discs and caliper carriers. i did the whole job for £200 including standard brembo discs and oem pads.

Its easy if you have hubs with removable carriers, if not like the 110, you need to change the hubs like me to accomodate for the removable carriers etc as you cannot remove the carrier on the smaller 110 hubs as these come welded with the hubs as standard

Size does not matter. rim design does, I've learned the lesson.
I have brembo GTs 323 on 17" cupra r's

Got the GTs at only 800£ on fleabay brand new

SOOOO TRUE!! - I found this out to my cost his weekend.

I'm actually an A3 driver (looking for Brembo info!! ) and my OEM 17" 9-spokes are fine diameter wise - it's the inner curve of the spoke that's catching the caliper.

I'm trying to find out which OEM VAG wheels will fit without using spacers - so after reading this thread, looks like I'll be looking for badger bills' info list!!! (at last an info list YAY!! ) :funk:

Although I've seen a few peeps using and suggesting the BBS CH rims with small spacers - and the more I see these the more I'm starting to like them.
