help with door locking please guys

when i bought my cupra 6months ago the fob never worked but the ey unlocked all the doors, then started playing up and sometimes wouldnt unlock, then sometimes unlock and all the windows would go down aswell!!

now the car doesnt lock at all with the key, the key turns in the barrel but does nothing??

any ideas of what i need to change?

cheers m8, did try that but it actually comes up with a fault on vag com that stops me from doing it, i was gona strip the door and see about replacin the mech (£92) but the diagram looks well fiddly!!

plus i cnt lock the door manually as it just turns in the barrel and nothing happens

for reference you cant get the same parts at the dealer for £3/4 less than that

and if you fish out the loose ends out ya door even cheaper still
