I have been running my 007 as an atmospheric and have not had any problems so will be getting the bailey.

I’m surprised you don’t have idle problems (not doubting you though). If I ran my DV30 as an atmospheric my lcr wouldn’t idle. The DV26 has a plunger that holds closed at idle to prevent this problem. I think that’s why it’s referred to as a twin piston DV.:D

Yeah me too, I tried the GReddy BOV before and it stalled at idle because it was a single piston. Never had any probs with the DV26 or the Collins as they are twin piston, but the Collins used to give me a pressure drop code - but the Bailey DV26 doesn't!

I never had any problems running the dv26 but I thought gear changes were ever so slightly smoother with the dv30. So I ran the 30 most of the time for that reason and piece of mind. Never had a code though (with the 26)! :D

I decided to get proper water injection tanks, rather than use the windscreen washer tank, so I ordered some stuff from Devils Own and I managed to find another washer tank off ebay (as I had tapped mine for the WMI).

After cleaning up the washer tank I drilled the back of the rear seats and fitted the new tanks:

I had to drill and tap the tanks for the fittings and also the low level float (still to be wired up to an LED, tomorrow). Using a 'Y' adapter both tanks feed into one. Here's how it all looks with the job finished:

I also fitted an inline filter before the pump to stop any muck getting into the pump. With the boot floor back in place it looks like this:

So I now have approx. 7.5 litres of water/methanol which should last a long time!

Looks amazing rob, Look forward to chatting to you at the national. I like what you have done with the bumber, might do the same, makes it look very aggressive. Do you need new mesh? or just take the Plate bezzle out?

Well nothing major to report, apart from not making the national meet!

WMI is working very well so I changed the nozzle from a DO3 to a DO4 (nozzle calculator says I need 3.81gph, DO4 nozzle is closest to this figure) and tapped it into the metal connecting pipe rather than into a silicone hose. I advanced the timing 3 degrees and all was well, so I have added another 3 to make it 6 degrees of advanced timing - car is flying. Must be over 300bhp now, certainly feels like it!

I have covered the interior door handles with black alcantara and will be doing the entire headlining soon, I have found high temp adhesive so it won't come away or sag on hot days. Here's a pic of one of the handles, all four have been done, they look and feel very nice:

I'll be doing more suede on trim parts soon, including the headliner! :D
