i think the mk3 and mk2s have different struts

Don't think so. It is around that price from the dealers anyway. And you get a nice SEAT Sport one!

Yep correct, definately different strut braces required for Mk2/3. The Mk3 uses the original 3 bolt hole positions for the suspension leg, the Mk2 does not have any holes.

Hi, could someone please advise on where i can get hold off a rear upper strut brace made of polished steel, with U brackets that bolt around the top of the struts.

Don't know which strut braces to get to fit the Ibiza? Here's the information you need:

- Front-upper strut brace - any SEAT dealer, £50-£60

- Front-lower strut brace - mk2 Golf, HERE

- Rear-upper strut brace - mk1 Golf, HERE

Is it straight bolt on or do you need to drill some new holes for it?

i want these for my mk 2 gti 8 valve, but noticed on the front upper the strut tops dont have holes so how is it sucured??
