Hi,
I bought Ibiza Sport 2.0 75kw/115hp in October 2008. First of all, was made additional anti threft systems installations, two way Alarm system Pandora DXL 2500 (Russian manufacturer)


Additional Imobilizer pandect IS-350, with double dialog on 2.4GGH frequency,



Hood Lock system Mul-T-Lock


And GSM positioning security system Spider GSM


After that, I can sleep more comfortable with the new car under my window.
Install of HID lamps in a head lights, Was the next step Chineese Infolight HID with H7 bulb, and everybody blinded if the head ligts in an upper position.

Next step was install of mud guards. Of course, its looks very funny, but, the problem was in the price of 4 mud guards in official dealer store. 85 pounds for 4 pieces of plastic!
Of cource, its very expensive even for UK I think.
Thats why, I bought 4, Made in Poland universal mud guards on Automobile bazaar, cut it a little, with the help of scissors, and bind to. Looks not perfect, but price 7 pounds -4 pieces. And no mud and dust on my doors and rear bumper.

Next step was instaling a MP3 receiver, sub and amplifier.
I Jump of Guarantee of oficial dealer, becouse is too expencive for me to visited their bad quality servise. I can made it yuorself. if something wrong with the car, its not easy to prove to dealer thats its warranty covered breakage.

Lets start, first problem was entering cabin from the hood, with aplifier power cable. I loose 3 hours to enter through hood control rod... photos http://keba.io.ua/album204702

Previously, I upgrade my old Sub, extract loud speaker and put it into new bigger body. Body was additionaly glued and was damped with the help of carpet - photos here http://io.ua/s71042

Next, was assembling of aplifier and condensator panel, laying of power and RCA cable via cabin http://keba.io.ua/album205472

VV load mk4 with old 2.0 8 valve ingines -and sold it to eastern europe etc. They have a lot of this engines in their factory in Mexico (inside motor a lot of stamps Made in Mexico)
But this engines are too "dirty'' for W. Europen ecology standards, thats why, they go to Eastern Europe, Russia, countries of former USSR, and Middle East.

As you probably know, this engine likes to "eat" motor oil -from the first day of use.

heh no worries mate, i bet its a bit more poweful than mine

i wouldnt say thats a bad thing, im pretty sure they used to put 2.0 8v engines in the mk2s(possibly mk3s too) they're spose to be good engines. how is it for fuel consumption? i can imagine its quite thirsty

OOO! Fuel consuption is pretty good -10-11 liters of A-95 petrol.

Thats why I convert my car into propane-butane (LPG) fuel system.
This system of the "4-th generation", its include gas tank, tubes, hoses, reduser, fuel and gas valves, elecronic engine control unit, pressure sensor of intake manifold, electric injectors, refuel valve and electronic switch LPG/Petrol, with the LPG Level indicator.

When You start engine -its starts on petrol. warms up to +35 C and automaticaly stars running on propane-butane. when gas finishes - system return to run on petrol. At any time you can switch to petrol or gas, just push the button.
Of course, my car loose a litle his power. Usually its aprox 8-10 per sent of power. But, if you like to drag with somebody, u can switch to petrol back at 3-4 sec.

Gas consumption aproax 12.1-12.5 liters on 100 km.
Gas 2.3 times cheaper than petrol in our country.
Gas fuel is 3 times more ecological as petrol.
Engine Lives much more mileage.
Engine oil lasts longer - you can add 5000 km, to your normal oil service.
Teoretically, burnout of engine valves can hapend after 150K km, but in our country they burnout and on petrol too. (spurious fuel sometimes hapend)

The cost of such instalI on my car -aprox. 500 pounds, payback 10 month.

IN december 2009, the windows of my seat was tinted in a black color, of course its not legal in a such black tinted degree, but a lot of cars in our country totaly tinted, even windshield!
