Why is the alarm light on the passenger door? is it because the cars are spanish and therefore left hand drive?
My mk1 Leon had it in the drivers door and I could see from my house if the car was locked with a quick glance out of the window. I have now got mk2 Leon and can't see the alarm light with it in the passenger door.
Anyone know why it is fitted there and not the drivers side? Can a light be fitted to the drivers door?

Yes , think it was the cost saving from SEAT , uk , ireland , Australia , cyprus are only countries to get RHD cars so not that cost effective to move light to right door.

at least we dont have the different arm rests that the golf have , one door its one shape the other side its another shape , looks really odd
