probably doesn't mean anything, but I've had mine in since august/september time and I live 5 minutes walk from a right chavvy estate and had no problems so far.
They are hard to get out once they're in which makes it good for security, but a bugger if you want to change something like add an RCA out for upgraded speakers powered by an amp

Unsure if i like the headlight brows tbh..

I was thinking of getting headlight covers and tinting them grey/black with a SCN sticker on the right. Possibly too much though. Maybe if someone is handy with Photoshop?

Thanks :D

Well good news and bad news

Good news : Well i passed my drving test about an hour ago, first time :)

Bad news : Im having a hard time trying to insure it at the moment, its just too expensive and my dad is trading it in next month for a Mk5 1.6 common rail Ibiza, which ill never get insured on either.

So im on the look out for a reasonably priced MK4 beeza at the moment :)

wot you have to sell it? are you stripping it to standard?

what sort of price you looking for a new mk4?>

As mentioned in my first post, its my dads beeza. I was learning to drive in it and, depending on insurance, for summer, but my dad likes to buy new cars every so often. Tbh im just happy i passed.

Possibly 2000-3500 for a wee 1.2 or something, dont want to have to owe my dad money atm, so ill just save up and get one.

It was stupid money for full comp with all mods declared, with the company my dads with. I think it was something like £250 a month!

Somehow Im insured on a 1.9 TDi Toledo, 3rd party though which is £45 not exactly what I was hoping to drive but Ill get something for myself at some point.

you thought about a mk2, a lot cheaper and maybe you could get insured on a gti with the extra cash, and its old school :p

mk 3, pretty cheap, and cheap insurance, look good and you could get the cupra bumpers which make it look sexy ;)

or a mk2 golf ;)

Even though i do like the GTi's the insurance is actually quite steep!

MK3 beeza and MK2 golf are a possibility defo! (I actually missed out on getting a mk2 golf gti, done about 160k but only had a couple of rust spots and FSH! guy only wanted £1250, bargain and i could have defo afforded insurance)

Have been looking at a mk1 1.4 leon LCR rep 60k miles IIRC but i think 3500 is a wee bit over priced?

class mate want something simular done to mine

good work

Thanks pal, replyed back to your PM btw :)
