Just bought my new Ibiza from Hobins of Manchester, very pleased with the car, drives really nicely, 2 years old with only 10K on the clock. Part exchanged my VW Golf 05 2.0 SDI with 72000 on the clock and a fair amount of work needing doing to it (needs a whole new grille and back bumper + general wear and tear) for around half the price. Picking it up on Saturday, i will get some pictures up soon, it is red [B)]

Hi there, sounds like a nice beeza you're getting. You can get some pics up when you have 15 posts.

Quite like the wheels (googled it) but unsure if they would suit an ibiza.

As for a 30mm drop thats never going to be enough, i have 17's on mine with a 50mm drop (with shocks) and still sits too high. The back does'nt lower as well as the front on the ibiza so i think coileys is a better option to get it sitting nicely. :)

If you wanted a nicer tone you could get a new backbox and tailpipe which shouldnt be too expensive ;)

As for mod's, the best thing i ever did was remap mine :D

Haven't a clue lol, but I'm sure someone more knowledgable on mk4 Ibizas will be along shortly to tell you, or you could always try the search.

The exhaust is the one thing I never changed on my car :( never got round to it lol

get spacers on there too, improves handling and gives a more agressive stance!

is it a petrol or diesel? Nice car looks tidy.

yes of course you can get an oval tailpipe, just find an exhaust shop and you can either just get the tip welded on, or go for a tip and backbox for a bit of sound too. Both of these are pretty cheap.

As for the suspension it depends what your after, a good set of springs and shocks will drop a bit and improve handling, but if you want a serious drop then you need coilovers. A good set of coilovers could be quite expensive though, depending on make.

yes this is what i want, think it looks well nice, what size spacers you got on mate? just i don't want to put too bigger ones on and it fail it's MOT by sticking out of the arches, i was thinking like 15mm. Am i right in thinking it would depend on what wheels i have on?

Thanks mate, it's a petrol. Definitely think i will go with the backbox and tailpipe, just a matter of finding them! should be able to get a good deal on fitting as my parents are good friends with a guy that owns a garage near where i live :)

miltek don't do an exhaust for the 1.4 16v as far as I know, could it be modified to fit?

I've got 15mm spacers waiting to be fitted asap.
