I bought the SAK-3105 speaker adaptors and they do not seem to line up at all, I'm sure I have read on here these are the ones to use. Has anyone else had similar problems? Or how have you fitted them?
Could i have just got the wrong ones lol?

Could you post a link as to where you got them from?

I have some Ibiza speaker adapters sat in my drawer at home, i was going to use them when upgrading speakers, but in the end i didn't bother.

Would you like me to take a picture and send it over?

I think the SAK-3105 are for the Mk3 Ibizas, 1999-2002 (thats what it says on their listings on ebay)

I got mine from ebay: clicky

these fitted straight on as well.

I couldn't see the item on the link sorry, it did say oon the item description Seat ibiza 1999 - 2006, so i assumed there wouldn't be much difference with the speaker set up in the door card!

SAK 3106 for vw lupo's fit much better, theyre perfectly round and bolt to where the original speaker was. And they come with appropriate connectors if your using standard speaker wire.

Or you could make MDF rings yourself which do a much better job than a cheapo bit of plastic.

Im going to go down the mdf route, apparently there is 21mm from the back of the window guide to the back of the normal speaker bit so 2 18mm glued together will have to be my spacer.

Also where are people mounting their tweeters?

I think you may have trouble refitting your door card with 36mm spacer, mine is 24mm and i can barely fit my doorcard back on!

I simply have my speakers spaced out with the outer casing from power cable as a quick fix to stop the window hitting the speaker. I have my tweeters mounted just slighty beside my speakers but towards the footwells if that makes sense a bit low down though.
