Climate control...opinions?

HI EVERYONE!

im goin to get an mk5 ibiza in the next month or two. Just wondering what anyone thinks of the climate control? Is it worth the extra money? I think the "non climate control" model is a bit spoilt by the air con dials and i think it looks a lot smarter with the climate control, but if it is a bit "naff" then i might not bother with the extra 200 and odd quid.

You are right - the a/c dials look rubbish & to my view, makes the climate control option a no brainer - its a must. Its a shame they didn't make the standard a/c look better. The CC is easy to use & improves the look of the dash area, which would otherwise look rather sparse.

Yep, got that in mine, makes the cockpit area a bit more pleasing to the eye !

Suprised its not standard on any of the trim levels, its virutally impossible to find a mk3 Ibiza without climate control

when i was speaking to the guy at the showroom he was saying its pretty hard to get hold of a climate control model of the mk5 without getting your own built...which takes 3-4 months as far as i am aware. Thats too long for me to wait

They found a 1.4 sport with cc and alloy upgrade that seemed ok to me, thats on its way into the country i think. Hopefully i can nab that one in a few weeks

Climate control is worth every penny.I had standard aircon in my mark 4 Ibiza and the new cc is very effective and easily controllable.I agree it also improves the apperance of the controls over the slightly old fashioned dials.Mine came fitted as it was a showroom model but I'm glad I have it.

hi m8 have a mk5 ibiza sports coupe think it looks smarter with the climate control but you might find the 1.4 engine dead up to you depends on what you our used to
