Ginger mk2 Ibiza....20vt Conversion

Heres mine and my mates little project we decided 2 do over the weekend....we took a perfectly workin Audi A3 and decided 2 put the 20vt lump in my mk2 Ibiza....still have alot of work 2 do on the car

Would like 2 thank Roly 4 pointing me in the direction of Ibiza_95....thanks 2 these they gave us the inspiration 2 do this lol!

Rite got there in the end!!

This is the point we got 2 over the weekend....kinda stuck until we have an ECU ordered up....its a shame Josh goes 2 zante tomorrow, could of done with that money haha

Apparently not....the Audi's ecu wont connect 2 the Ibiza's dash, thats why Quantum Perfomance want the wiring loom 2 adapt it and it comes with a stand alone ecu....but thats £850!!

Poor ol mk3 ibiza....gearbox has broken on her, whipped the gearbox off n left it on axle stands.
Going 2 rob more bits off the Audi then probably scrap it, it has S3 Recaros in it....we would like 2 graft them in 2 the ibiza but i dont think they are track dayish enough lol

Waahheeyy its finally done and im absolutly loving it now!! QPE ecu is amazing and soo simple to install....il recommend them to anyone doing a conversion like this!!

Just have to uprate the fuel pump and FPR (4 bar) then she'll be running like a beauty

230bhp map on it with KO3s turbo and it she absolutly rips!! Cant wait to evolve her even more, next on the list is forged internals and bigger turbo!

How does the QPE ecu work?? Does it have like a standard map on it or something??

Reason Im asking is that I considering doing a similar conversion and Ive heard it mentioned but Im just after some more info. Im considering a PD130 engine, just to do something different.

Really good project mate. Look forward to seeing pictures of the finished car. Will be watching this thread for the future changes/upgrades.
