Right ordered the R32 ARB and will have it tomoz (mucho cheapness at £60 inc vat for the 23mm one, but that was a massive favour :)). R32 Wishbones complete are silly money (£170 each) so ordered the rear bushes with the ARB bushes. Just gonna get the ball joints ordered aswell now before i have a nice weekends work lol:).
Hey willie are the S3/TT/LCR drop links different aswell then as with the car lowered 35mm would it make a difference in which ones to fit?
For these model the drop links are all the same AFAIK.
The amount lowered doesn't matter on the LCR style drop link like it does on the LC.
Remember to get new ball joint bolts and a ball joint splitter if you don't already have one

Would be happy to help with the subframe if theres more free beer in it.
Was thinking it would be the best time to do mods as there will be loads of hands and Seat brains there

Help for a novice LCR owner

I have an 04 lcr with 53k and have a crack in my front arb so needs replacing. I too know someone who works for VW who does all the work on my car at discount prices. Can I just order a front r32 arb and get him to fit it directly? My car is completely standard at the moment but as parts need replacing I am going to upgrade them. I need someone to help me as I am not very "hands on" so will have my VW man do them.
Don't want to dilute the thread but need front and rear discs as well. Was going to go for brembo drilled front discs with green stuff pads and leave the rears standard. Also is it worth replaceing the rear arb if so with what? Never thought I would be into moding my car but seems like its going that way!!! Oh and got my car booked in at Jabba sport for a stage 1! Think I will leave it at that......for now. Unless there are any other good mods you think i should do. want to stay within £1,000 if i can and keep it as simple as possible. Any advice on changing the bulbs in the front to some that seem whiter? Need advice from the experts! Any comments, criticism and advice welcome.

Not really the place to ask all that questions,
But
There are 2 sizes of MK4 R32 front ARB, 21 and 23mm.
The 23mm one is good with uprated other bits, like strutt brace and rear ARB

It can seem as newbie's strikes back, can you guys explain what ARB stands for?
I'm in the moding process for my LC and i'm gathering data :))

Cool guys thaks for your input. Sorry about all the condensed info but didn't know where to post. Is there a place to ask them all or should i visit seperate threads? Hopefully XXL-X-L and you all understand the situation. We come to these forums to ask people who know what they are doing. With their help we can pass on the knowledge and feed back.

It's best to try the search function first before asking questions, this forum has been on the go for 5 years+ and the Leon as been on the go for 5 years + too.
Most of the questions you have has been asked already.
If you cannot find out through search then people are more than happy to pass on the information
