Are you talking directly to me? I do get concerned that my fellow fans may not when theirs no quote. In case you are, and if not you can just ignore me, I won't actually be camping. I will be just travelling down in our X-Trail and just pitching down our stools and bag with our lunch in.

I do have good news re: the weather. Had a look at the 10-day forecast for Darlington and I am now able to get a full low-down on the hour-by-hour forecast and itf it is right, and I don't dount it after last year, it says the rain won't arrive by 6pm. By then then, I am guessing, all teams will be well advanced into the process of packing up and and most of us in attendance will be of anyway. So thankfully we will have a narrow escape.

not directly to you mate to the BARMY ARMY in general They will have left by now proberbly at donny services as we speak

Sorry. I suppose I can be part of the Barmy Army too. Even though I travel seperately.

Just a quickie on the Free Practice, Adam Jones and Dan Eaves traied in 9th and 10th respectively. Liam McMillan not running due to personal reasons.

Jonesy qualified 4th. I hope he woops some ass tomorrow :cartman:

About to set off for the track now.:funk:

Jones has both RAC beemers and a Racing Silverline Lacetti piloted by Jase'. Not the best quartet to start with as Turks and Jase' for me especially have been going fast and competitive. But you never know. Again for me it all comes down to what the driver does on the day and how well or badly he races. And though pace will be an issue, I reckon Adam's competitive streak won't make him an easy person to over-take.

Plato got 2 points on his licence and an official repromand for his 'dangerous' move and contact with Neal. What a load of crap that is! Bit of a harsh punishment I feel. Neal getting done to him what he does to everybody else aswell and he doesnt like it...surprise surprise!

How does the points on the licence work? Same as normal, get too many and your banned?

I thought it was a good bit of overtaking, few litle nudges then kept his foot in just to make sure Neal ended up on the grass. :funk:

Saw Jason in a petrol station on the drive back. Needless to say he flew off down the A1.

Mercedes SL63 AMG in a gunmetal kind of grey.

Whereabouts were these offences that Plato and Collard are meant to have occured. As I know nothing about what it would take to turn a racing move into an offence such as that done by Collard and Plato yesterday and Adam on Plato at Brands Hatch I don't beieve I saw anything untoward by anyone and I was standing on the same area of the bank overlooking Hawthorn as you guys were.

If driving offences can be that common-place surely the penalty system that operates in the Clio Cup would be sufficient. Every offence that is commited has a penalty attached; 2pts for a formal written reprimand, fine/time penalty 3pts, 4pts for qualification/race exclusion and 6pts for a meeting exclusion. Every time one is committed it is doubled. So if a driver got two race exclusions he would have 8pts docked from his total. Tom Carnaby, Mike Robinson, James Colburn and David Shepherd already going into Croft each have formal written warnings and Alex Dew has two of them (4pts - 2pts for each reprimand).

I am sure it can work.

Yep, the Banner does create a lot of attention, with it being so busy it usually gets obscured, especially when people use it as a sun shade........

Yeah pretty much. Not sure of the points threshold. Neal got what he deserved for everything he's done so far this season to everyone else. Sticking his big sharp front corners into other cars rear quarters and pushing them out the way.

Did you actually see JP himself? I'm sure his parents drive a Merc Coupe these days. He's had a Porsche 911 at every meet I've been at this year. They have similar number plates, except he only has a single '1' in his, where they have two.

Collard fired Jones off in race 3. I did find a new respect for him last season, but this year he's been far too aggressive. Yet the commentators and a lot of the crash monkeys like that sort of thing. The incident will be investigated further at Snetterton.

I did indeed. He bought a Ham Mayo sandwich, another sandwhich and some drinks. Was gonna try vet a video driving past him but it was too busy and when it wasn't he drives like a crazy fool!
