ahhh so you've been the one stealin all the bumpers!! haha it's a pain in the arse. there where some side skirts on ebay the other day, and they've been taken off which is a pain! I'll keep looking though!

I've got the grilles and front bumper, also the door moldings as well.

You mean those brand new sideskirts from Birmingham?

I haven't got the door mouldings yet, just need them and the tow eye cover for rear bumper and the 2 lil caps for front bumper............will get them from garage tho as there pretty cheap....oh and Ineed the lower fog grilles to but don't think there that expensive new.

If I see any more skirts or a rear bumper mate I'll pm you

Not alot really, same price as the new GRP ones so I was happy....don't think they got the tow eye covers tho.

I check it all the time mate I will keep an eye out for you

I saw a car the other day with the GRP ones from Poland and to be honest there pretty good........and you don't need towing eye covers and they bond on so you don't need the fitting kit.

Ok little update for you all. (sorry still no pics!) S3 strut brace is finished now. awaiting the bolts then that will go in at some point this week.

Also i have just purchased an inlet manifold and a rocker cover. these are going to be painted black.

I've also hear that my bumper and other item have both been primed. so i should get them this week!

i've also ordered some grille surounds that i'm gunna paint ad see how they come out.

haha i did notice that! don't worry my wheels will be different. I've got a boot handle being painted as well. the S is going to be a nice silver and the surround will be blue. i've got some carbon fiber that i'm going to put behind the S. I'm going to do that with the front one as well i think. should be cool.

Well in garage theres a set of coilovers, a full turbo back exhaust, a full facelift kit that needs painting and fitting, a set of new wheels that need fitting, and a manifold and rocker cover that need fitting + some new pressed plates.Oh and a FMIC kit..........So I guess fitting things would be a good start! lol

I'm thinking of flushing my tailgate handle out and getting it painted with my bumpers.......although I'm not sure yet.

Once Exhaust and FMIC is fitted I'm off to P-Torque for a stage 2 map, really want to get that started before the styling.

Ok so my strut brace is now on! yay it took about an hour to do over all. was easy enough to do. i just didn't quite trust myself with a drill to start off with but i was fine. so here are some pics!

I took the bonnet off, it made life a lot easier when it came to drilling all the holes!

oh yeah this is my air box. sounds really cool!! haha

Looks nice mate, was it just a simple job of laying it on and drilling the holes or is the suspension in the way?

the suspension was only in the way when i was trying to tighten the bolts up. but yeah i drilled the holes, made a racket!! haha and then screwed the bolts in place.

But you can get to the nuts to tighten it all up or did you have to remove the struts?

Might have to get myself one

I got to the nuts. it's a bit tricky but i tightened them up as much as i could. i might have to get an extension for my socket to tighten them up even more.

whats this taxi light you were talking about?

the taxi light switch is this

obviously it'll be on the other side, this is a left hand drive car......

it goes next to the rear de-mister button. but it depends on if you don't already have a button there. I don't have anything of importance there. just a bit of plastic. so i'm going to change it over to the taxi switch and hook it up to something!

I recieved my top rocker cover today, so i'm going to crack on with prepping it t be painted tomorrow, and i also got some grille surrounds that i'm also going to prep tomorrow and modd. i'll update some pics tomorrow!

Are you gonna grind out the casting marks and sand it down? Mine was ruff as a badgers arse and took me ages......I thought I had it right and sprayed it then rubbed it down and sprayed it again as I wasn't happy with it

What are you using to paint it?

yeah i'll take out the cast marks etc. i'm going to use hot paint. it'll be a matt black finish when i'm done. same with the inlet manifold, when i get it. it'll smooth that off as much as i can and spray it.
