you can hardly say you know how a gt2x hybrid drives like because youve never driven a well set up one (well, unless youve driven someone elses)

I'm not going to get into some dispute H17och, regardless if it worked right or not, having a turbo which puts out around 290bhp and takes till 3500rpm (spool time for big turbo territory) to work right IMO is not very efficient and is laggy for the lack of performance it actually gives

if it was such a great turbo, then it would be a lot more popular.......

end of the day thats my opinion, Robs differs

Devils Own controller is on its way back to them to be replaced, probably take around 2 weeks to get the new one.

I managed to machine polish out the scuff on the rear bumper using Menzerna intensive polish and a 4" light cut pad. I also had to respray my oil catch tanks and they were badly scraped after being at Star too.

Car is running great though, I got rid of the coolant header tank and swirl pot and am now running a combined swirl pot/header tank with a Stant 18-22psi cap. Works very well and looks great.

I also changed the hoses and fittings to the DV and also the oil catch tanks.

What was Jim and Brian saying about the car now Rob?
Were they impressed or indifferent?

Very disappointing to see the components got scratched, had hoped they would make a 'special' effort.

What were Star doing for you?
Did you get it rolling roaded or was the problems a stopper to this

I won't be in any hurry to go back there for anything TBH. I'd need to find another rolling road, will find once after I've got the WMI working.

losing faith in their quality of Rob work, despite them previously offering to put things right? I dont blame you...similar situation myself with my local AMD

This is one big reason why I have decided not to do any more trackdays at Knockhill:

Without a roll cage he may have died! Seen too many rollovers and bad driving at Knockhill over the years, not something I wish to participate in.

A new WMI controller is on it's way to me from Devils Own, should hopefully arrive later this week.

Still waiting on the new WMI controller, it's in the UK now so hopefully will have it next week.

I decided to tidy up the vacuum connections with a distribution block, AN fittings and hard lines.

The resistors are for the N249, N112 and SAI removals.

I also used proper AN fittings on the oil lines to the catch tanks and for the Bailey DV30 vac line.

Thats awsome, Rob

I have used the same distribution blocks at work when installing new machinery. Where did you take the feed to the distribution block from?
