got an Alpine headunit fitted to the car and bought a conector thing for the aeriel which i thought was the right one, turned out to be wrong. is there and links people can send me of which one to buy? preferably ones i can buy online. cheers
The one in the pic has a phono plug to go into the head unit. If the head unit is an Alpine, then it has an ISO connection on the back (same as the car) therefore it needs an ISO aerial booster.
You cant shove the phono one into the ISO socket either.
sounds alpine specific then, as that's the one i used on my pioneer, sony and kenwood hu's. It's only supplying 12v to the aerial to boost the signal - so you could probably make one yourself
well, as per the first post, he said he got one which was wrong, so can only assume he already has it (unless he's already taken it back to the shop of course)
