By the way my insurance as wife as main driver is 274.05 a year with swiftcover.com.

I was previously with Swiftcover - they do often come out with very cheap premiums.

Thats great if you never need to call them, but I unfortunately DID need to contact them following an incident.

It took them months to resove, I was left feeling like the victim, and they were not even interested in hearing my interpretation of events, as they'd already made up their minds!

Customer service was VERY poor, after finally being put through to someone, following a wait of upto 30 minutes on their call holding system.... (only to be put on hold again while they "looked into it" ).

Then they lose all my details/report sent in to them, and ask that I do it all again.....
In the end I had no other option but to report them to Trading Standards. Need I say more.

I am with them myself, but my brother has recently had an exact same experience as yourself.

I dont think i'll renew with them

I pay quite a lot (relative to Swiftcover) for a bells'n'whistles cover from Direct Line - including legal protection, NCD protection, guaranteed hire car, roadside assitance, etc, etc. It's relatively expensive, but they've always been good to me - e.g. extending my current car's cover for free for a couple of weeks when my new car wasn't ready to collect on the day I'd told them I was due to swap. I have no complaints about service from Direct Line.

I guess within reason you get what you pay for, like with everything else. :)

Fitted the black cupra grill and mud flaps today. Thought I would post pics of my handy work with the calipers and hubs too.

I see that and think "Let the Modding Begin" lol

nice choice of colour. economy wise it'll be about 35-45mpg.

was doing 35-37 @ 90-95mph yesterday which chrisboyle999 up my chuff lol

Chris's cupra is an epic car. stupidly quick, would have eaten my car alive if he wasn't following me for directions :)

Over long distances a FR TDI pisses all over a cupra. Over 70mph, especially 90 and above and the cupra drinks like amy winehouse. Fuel stops would be like every 90 miles lol.

Nice car nath, welcome to the fast leon club.

Another ibiza to leon driver too!

LOL @ "Fast Leon club" It's only a fancy diesel, From what I have read on here the Petrol FR is the one to get. I just couldn't find a mint 58 plate one with under 5k miles.

I always seem to buy the wrong one, When I had the Ibiza Fr petrol everyone said the 130 TDI was the best and now I seem to have bought the wrong Leon too.

Oh well, It has a much better ride and brakes than the Ibiza so Thats 2 up..

^^TBH I think it looks low enough, even lower when Big Nath is sat inside. Maybe just lower the passengers side  I am interested in a remap but I need to do some more reading up. I want to make sure the brakes, clutch and DPF will be OK.

Think the brakes / clutch can accomodate a stage1 map no bother. :D Is the DPF something that can give you trouble when tuning?

Might fit the mud flaps too looks good! Need to upgrade clutch at stage 2+ on my Cupra
