Odd lights on dash, epc, esp and tire pressure light

Driving last night and these 3 lights came up on my dash permantently, the epc, the esp, and the tire pressure light, happened just after I floored it in 2nd. It then remained one, till I left teh car off for a while at which point the epc light went off but the esp and tire pressure light stayed on permantely. Then after a a hour with the car off, when I next started it the lights all went away.

Just wondering why I have 3 light coming up on the dash, and what exactly the epc light means? Any clues? Looks like I might need to find someone with VAGCOM

The common thing for all of your problem lights is wheel rotation speed.

I would sugest that maybe you have/had a problem with a wheel rotation sensor (ABS sensor)

Could very well be that. Havent had the lights back yet and the cupra has had a kicking since. How long have you had the leon dude, never realised you upgraded! Loving it much?

Hi Poverty,

Don't want to kick up this topic, but having the same problem without anybody knows how to fix it. The 3 lights do come up, and car goes to safe-mode. After resetting (disconnect battery) the error stayed but clear after driving a mile.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,
Solaris

Could anyone please tell me about a possible solution for this?
Dealer can't find a solution for it.

Thnx!

I would say a faulty abs/wheel rotation sensor.
The tyre pressure warning works off of this sensor too, monitoring the change in wheel ride height when the tyre is low. There is one on all 4 corners so I'm not sure how to determine which ones at fault? I'd guess you can monitor each sensor in vag com but I've never tried?

Btw:
I had a faulty one of these on my old LCR and it didn't show up as a fault.

Good luck with it mate. I

m not sure if the sensor is handed? If not they only need to try it on each corner one at a time and see if clears?

Cheers
