Hi all,

Having a few issues with this head unit. It seems to store radio stations OK however it will not remember other settings (sound adjustments etc.) that I have made and I have to re-adjust these every time I turn it on.

I've read about switching the red/yellow wires but when I tried this the damn thing was completely dead!

Anybody got any ideas as to how to fix it?

I dont know what to suggest to be honest mate, I had a similar problems on my stereo and I swopped those wires over and it worked fine (Providing my engine was on)

I've just tried the swap trick again and it seems to have done the trick. Sure I saw a little spark which probably means I should have disconnected the battery first...

Perhaps first time I'd not got the bullet plugs properly shoved in cos its a pig to work with as there is no space behind the head unit.

Swap the yellow and red over and it will fix it, unless you have a fuse gone on the yellow.
