But what is an 8v GTI Cupra Sport made of?

I have a rough picture. Golf GTI Mk3 engine AGG, Polo Mk?? floorpan?, Golf GTI Mk2 & 3 suspension front & rear mix?

Can you clarify this?

I am just curious but some sort of sticky listing theparts which are interchangeable between various golfs and polos etc would be a help when sourcing parts.

Polo MK4 chassis with MK2 golf front end extention - which is why it houses the 2.0's and the polo didnt as standard
Golf MK3 front running gear, engines etc apart from the 1.0's
Polo MK4 back - hence the narrower track.

Add to it the gearbox and parts of the box (flanges) and shafts are Mk2 Golf or Corrado.... learnt after sourcing new flanges and seals when I fitted my diff.

apart from brake pins and cv joint bolts the inner cv (16v) are same as ford granada rear shafts
