All nice and red.

Gave them my mate to spray as been very busy, and need them fitting tomorrow.

These are the pictures he text me during spraying:

He couldn't do what I wanted (black spray, then stickers, then spray silver, then remove stickers), as he said the paint was thick, and when the stickers were removed, would lift some paint. So just stuck the stickers on top

So the finished result

*drum roll*

I'll throw EVERYTHING in the car fella. Saying that, the box containt brakes is taking up some space

You got a Karcher pressure washer? Also might need a TINY paint brush (or smallest you have)

brakes taking up most of boot space. don't worry tho, i'll bring it all somehow.

Oh, and rear brake has started squeeking, so needs some copper grease :D (gives me more time to clean whilst you take care of that). May even machine your bonnet as a "demo" for ya :D

Looks very nice mate! Silver does suit them and will look even better once its on the car. I'd have kept them red though, probably saying that as my cupra is red. Make sure you post pics when you get them on.

If I had a red cupra, then no doubt I would have stayed red! But I wanted 2 things. I wanted it to be subtle. And also wanted it to tie in with the car nicely! Now the whole car is silver, black and anthracite. Just got the red on the rear clusters, but I can't do owt about that!

At this point we hit a problem. The wheels wouldn't fit! Luckily, a local parts shop had some 3mm spacers in stock :D

Once the spacers were on, 2 more problems! had to remove the heat shield thing and also trip the carrier bolts to the hub as it was catching the disc.
