Brembo Questions

Ive finally managed to get round to getting some Brembo's for my S3, ive bought a set of ebay for a good price which were advertised as Leon Cupra R brakes. However having picked them up the calipers arent Leon ones. The Leon calipers have a crossfeed pipe on the caliper to connect the pistons on the two sides. (For those not sure what im talking about it is the pipe you can see at the bottom of the caliper)

The calipers i have dont have this crossfeed pipe, after doing some research it appears that the calipers that come in the Brembo GT kit for the S3 dont have this crossfeed pipe. I always thought they used the same calipers.

Obviously before fitting i want to confirm exactly what i have. Does anyone know what the piston sizes are in the GT kit Callipers or the Leon ones? I need to to confirm they are suitable sizes of piston in my calipers. Does anyone know the brembo part number of the calipers from the GT kit?

Theres a Danish guys Gubien who has the brembo GT kit fitted to a European LCR (Non Brembo model). He might have the part number for you.
Try searching on this section fror Brembos, it was onyl about 3 months ago

same piston sizes on GT as Leon
I have brackets for these also, as they are different offset to leon ones

Hi Bill,

The kit i bought has brackets and disks, everything needed to fit mate. The guy said they were from LCR but after picking them up the calipers arent LCR ones. Im hoping it is actually a GT kit. Do you know what the part numbers are for the calipers from the GT kit or the piston sizes so I can confirm this is what i have? Need to be sure these are GT calipers or have suitable piston sizes, dont want to go fitting calipers from a spurios car that have completely incorrect piston sizes.

If they were from a LCR, shouldnt they have the text, "Seat Sport?" Or just "Seat"?
Mine is GT's and they dont have the pipe.

Thats how they look just not as shiny and new(till i get finished repainting them anyway). Thanks to BBoy82 ive managed to confirm they have the correct size pistons so im now 99% sure that its a GT kit (not LCR kit as advertised). Do you know what the brembo part numbers are for the calipers you have Gubien? If you have these i could 100% confirm what i have.

I can look through the boxes today. I reckon it was stated on the outside of the box the calipers were in.
