Car has been running great, no problems or lights on dash but noticed on cold starts that some petrol is coming out the exhaust.

Ran vag-com today and got the following 2 faults:-

VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-S

Chassis Type: 1L - Seat Toledo
Scan: 01,02,03,08,15,25,41,56

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 01: Engine
Controller: 066 906 032 A
Component: MOTRONIC ME7.1 G01 0011
Coding: 00031
Shop #: WSC 02319
2 Faults Found:
16523 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: Response too Slow
P0139 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16804 - Catalyst System: Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold
P0420 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Readiness: 0000 0000

Do either of these issues need addressed as I am not sure what problems they may cause and are they likely related?

Also, if it's a sensor needs replaced what sort of cost am I looking at from a Garage?

Thanks in Advance.

Cheers Dave, yep the B1 S2 would suggest the post cat Lambda sensor.

Any ideas where I should see this is on the car? I'm guessing it's some bolted on device to the exhaust system after the CAT?

I've checked on e-bay and the part is about £75, not sure how big a job it is to replace though. Seen someone suggest £100 garage labour :headhurt:

Yep, you'll find it behind the Cat. Easy to do if you can get access underneath, they sometimes break coming out.

Cheers I'll have a look tomorrow.

On another note, is there many options you can change using VAGCOM on a 2001 Toledo V5? I noticed there aren't many modules selected for autoscan for this model and it kicked out on module 03.

I've seen mention of Anti Jacking, Locking Beeps, Windows auto close etc but not sure if this is only relevant to the newer cars?
