As I said my insurance would be cheaper but Im in a medium-high risk post code. Have a shop around, have a look in the back of car magazines and look for young driver/modified specialists.

You can get a rough quote from Adrian Flux online but then you have to phone them up to confirm a few things. It doesnt change that much either.

Mine is £1000 a year with 1 years no claims and pass plus. It is only so much because I have to pay in monthly instalments.

Try living in Northern Ireland, and get insurance!! Im 17, Im driving an unmodified 1.4 litre mk2 and my insurance for a year is £2400. And yes thats the cheapest i can get, and yes thats a normal price for insurance for a young driver in NI. SUCKS!!!!

haha... what an entertaining thread this has become!... Nothern Irealand - I feel for you teens!... £2400 is horrific!!!... that's beyond man!... Mine's £425 now, been driving just over a year...
