Picking up Leon Cupra on friday - fingers crossed

Iv put down a deposit on a '03' SEAT LEON CUPRA - 180bhp model - hopefully will be picking it up this friday - reason for this is, the seller has a private plate and didnt realise he would need to send the V5 back to DVLA - to get it put back to thestandard reg - so have to wait for this to come back....

Its Black, 50,000 on clock, same owners since new - has old all the prev MOTs and has been serviced by SEAT - full service history - inc cambelt and waterpump change...

Just wanna know a couple of things - firsty it doesnt have a sunroof (not really bothered about this however, as i hardly used sunroof in my MK4 Golf Turbo) - so how come this doesnt have sunroof anyway???

Also - what would the engine code most likely be? And i take it that it is the K03s turbo unit....

I always thought that most cars that have air con/climate control don't tend to have a sunroof.

It should be an AUQ engine too, just as a matter of interest what golf was it? (150 or 180)

Yep thats right you'd have to choose it as an option to have both

It was a 2000 Golf MK4 GTi Turbo (engine AGU) - it had the Climatonic thing with AC and also a tilt/slide sunroof....


Maybe the later Golfs didnt come with Sunroofs either - as they must have thought theres no need for them if they have sunroofs

Id have loved a Cupra-R - but funds werent there - and also its gonna be fun to do up my Cupra all the same anyway - sytling, engine tuning, wheels - im exicited!!

i use to have a FR lol but i wouldn't go back i love the Cupra

well it come with tinted windows in the back section which looks nice, and ive just put a 007 and a panel filter with the smooth airbox mod too and its got a fabia rear wiper and aero ones on the front to
