Warning light???

its a light bulb with an explantion mark in it in the rev counter on a 57 cupra?

Had it a couple of times on start up in last couple of weeks??

Any ideas?

Its amber... I've had my headlights (xenon adaptive) replaced for LHD units as im living in germany, I wondered if there could be a problem with the lights unit or conections?

Only for low washer fluid. Has only come on twice in last 2-3 weeks on turning ignition on 1st time it flashed today it was on steady. Goes off after a couple of seconds

i would have said;

red - brake fluid warning (but you get a written warning with that too)
amber - tyre pressure minitor

Its not on there mate ? Certain it came on in Rev counter

arent the ones in the rev counter only lighting ones; indicators, fogs, high beam...

is it to tell you a bulb is out? have your xenons been replaced with lhd xenons? if not the different current draw of halogens and xenons will be causing the blown bulb warning light?

Not straight after... Maybe 6 - 10 weeks after the swap

hmmm... if it was a bulb warning indicator it should be instant. have you checked you don't have a headlight out or any light out for that matter? might be worth plugging into vagcom to check for errors?

This light came on mine it is in the rev clock and its a bulb failure warning. Mine came on and it was a front foglamp not working but they were not on at the time, so it must run a test on startup. Kev

Aaaaaaaaaaaah,

My fogs were unplugged when i fitted the splitter. Also I think there MAY have been a little water ingress from the headlight washer tube that was also disconnected.
