Hi,well hopefully within the next couple of months or so i am seriously considering buying a new ibiza sport sc,had a test drive in one a few days ago and i am very happy with the results.
I would like some input if anyone would like to help,in the choices of colour and options.
The engine will be 1.4 that is fine for my wife and me,but we seem to be disagreeing at the colours and options:think:.
This is what i would like - Colour White.
Options- Bi-Xenon lamps/Climate control/17"Alloys/Bluetooth with ipod preparation/Dark rear Tints/Volumetric Alarm with back up horn/ and Alloy Foot pedals.
The wife would like the colour- Galia Blue or Luna Grey/16" alloys/Alarm/and reversing sensors.

Some other advise is about the CD-radio,has this improved, only i used to have an 07 Leon and the car was back and forth to the dealership with it switching itself on full blast when ever it felt the need:confused:.
I know this is an IBIZA and not a Leon but has anyone come across any problems with the new one in the ibiza.
Your help would be much appreciated.

If I was you I'd definitely get the climate control as it looks much better than the standard air con in the new Ibiza. I prefer the Luna grey to Galia blue as it's metallic and will prob resell better, the white is nice though.

Remember if you get iPod prep you also need to buy the dock seperately from the dealer for it to work properly.

Can very much agree with the white and tints, Received very positive remarks on mine and defffinatly stands out, If that's your kind of thing;). I've seen the Blue in the flesh and it looked more odd than amazing to me, Don't know why, couldn't put my finger on it:shrug:. Luna is OK, but just a little average for me. But it's each to there own.

I think you've got the perfect order, Although you may be better with the design pack which includes the tinted windows, Custom dash and something else I think.

Good Luck

I'm not so keen on the different colour dashboards myself, a bit glarey.

The dashboard i would pick would be all one colour, I have seen in the new brochure some chrome parts that fit into the Dials,Bottom of the steering wheel,Air Vents, Glove box handle, and Gearstick, these look quite decent.

Well the wife and i have come to a compromise now, and if all goes well for us in the next month, the car order would be as follows-

SC SPORT 1.4
Luna Grey
17" Wheel option
Climate Control
Top Spoiler
Bi-Xenon Lights
ESP with Hill Hold EBA & Tyre Pressure Monitoring
Rear Tints
Bluetooth Pack and combined USB/ipod connection
Alloy Foot Pedals
Volumetric Alarm

Hope you don't mind me joining in here.

I think you've gone for just about everything mate! What's the top spoiler though? The car comes with a rear spoiler as standard on the SC & i didn't see any additional options.

Bluetooth is worth every penny, esp when considered against a £60 fine & 3 points if you don't have and get caught using your phone. Its actually quite simple to set up and use too, albeit the voice commands are a bit tricky at first. I think the 17" alloys are a must as well if you want the sporty look. At just £137 its a no brainer. Climate control looks good & modern where the standard a/c looks quite frankly rubbish. Good choices overall, though i went for Track Grey over Luna. Good luck.

Hi mate, spoiler looks good from what i can see & at just £115 may as well go for it. Make sure you post a few pics when it arrives, eh!?

I don't think it is us that decide which colour/extras you have on your new Ibiza. You should be arguing with the wife, like the rest of us married people. Are you getting any further discounts on top of the scrappage scheme?

We have both come to an agreement of Luna Grey for the car now:clap:, the scrappage scheme wouldn't apply to us as the car we have to part - ex is only 3 yrs old.

Swindon, Wiltshire
they do a petrol and a diesel variant of that accessory, so I'd imagine the petrol fits all petrols and the diesel fits all the diesels, don't know for sure tho...

Hidsons SEAT dealership told me that you cant have the Chrome Tailpipe on the 1.4:cry:
Would need to change the whole exhaust system i was told:confused:

Probably correct - i've got the 1.4 and the tail pipe is hidden back behind the bumper moulding. You can't even see it. Doubt you'd need the whole exhaust replaced, but maybe the box section.
