awrite, am looking into suspension for my mk1 leon fr150, just wondering what kinda set up to get, keeping the standard wheels and looking to go 40mm! any ideas?

All depends on your budget mate, you can pay £1000+ for fully adjustable coilovers or £150 for budget coilovers from ebay, all depends what you want. Dont go for just springs tho as they put too much pressure on your standard shocks and they will wear out quickly. Maybe a decent matched spring and shock kit maybe your best option.

Awrite Moby, this si the set u i went for:
Eibach Sportline Springs, lowered the car 35mm and she feels and handles great. Didn't need shocks as mine were still fairly new :)
Only problem is each time the car goes for service or MOT, they complain the car is too low for their ramps!!!

cheers lads mite try the kw springs, will just using springs to go 40mm not damage the shocks and make ride harsh?

It's always best to get matched springs and shocks and doing so will give you a better handling and performing ride. A lot of people just do the springs though and have no problems. It's really up to what you're wanting and also your budget.

It depends on the condition of your shocks :shrug:, if they are a few years old then it might be better to go for matched shox & springs.
Mine were OK so just fited springs and had no probs for over a year now :D
