Forge vs. Seat Sport Front Mount?

Although the forge cooler is smaller than the seat sport, my car with the forge cooler is running bang on the same power as a few other guys all with seat sport coolers so it cant be all that bad, Bigger doesnt always mean better

It looks as though the Seat Sport Intercooler is £220 delivered from Sere Motors. The pipes i've heard are around £400 though.

The Forge Kit is on offer at Awesome for about £550 (RRP £650+).

BTW, Awesome say the MK4 Ibiza kit now comes with a modified crash bar

If you were in Germany or austria i could supply the whole Seat Sport kit incl all pipings, IC, boost sensor and small parts like screws and so on for 760€

Yea but on the rollers, you still have a big fan blowing air into the intercooler and radiator otherwise the engine would overheat. But it makes a dramatic difference in intake temps. I watched mine go from somewhere like 40c while ideling for a min or 2, down to 15c after driving for about 10 seconds!

I did'nt think they were any ware near that much, thought it was more like half that.
You could prob make your own pipework for a lot less that too.

Thats the standard SEAT pipework with the bad bit of flat pipe on the pipework working up to the EGR....

yea it does but they didnt do a very good job and in the pic it you can see that they have weldid but the cut to make it not so sharp around the edges...
