Info on the flywheel and engine code sizes are in the FAQ thread. Dont be fooled if you think theyre the same for both engine codes Mat.

just trying to find out if the kit ricardo smooth posted will fit or not

what is confusing me is that the post Phil posted a thread to mentioned clutch plate size is 220mm or 225mm (depending on engine code). Mine appears to be 225mm according to that post.

However, in this thread, it mentions 228mm will fit (VR6). So I assume a bigger clutch/plate/whatever it is, is ok. But what about smaller?

The guy mumbled 220 on the phone. And also said it WILL fit mine

You do know you could probably get it cheaper than from Trade Parts Specialists?

Fly - 037 105 273 A
Cover - 021 141 025 FX
Friction - 021 141 031 CX
Bearing - 02A 141 165 A

They are the vr6 clutch and flywheel numbers apparently.

Nah, TPS supply the dealers with parts.

And FYI, a g60 flywheel is 88 quid plus 30 quid exchange if you dont give in your old flywheel. So 88 quid for a second hand one is a rip off.

I know. When I saw their price, i was thinking "bet you rang autoworld etc for new price", just no surcharge!

So do you both think it should/will fit?
