Air Con problem

Hi,

in the last few days my air con doesnt seem to be getting warm. Normally in the morning I'll have a quick blast at 22c but it's just blowing out cool air. If I ramp up the Air con to HI then I do start to get warm air.

Anyone any ideas?

Cheers,

C.

I sort of have the opposite problem, where as mine wont get cold... but I think my problem is just the gas...

Mine did this, had it regassed but nothing.

Penmans had it on numerous occasions but their sensors said everything was working :( even though it was only blowing cold air on 'LO'

Eventually it sorted itself out one day on the way back from work, I had it set to 'LO' for about 15 mins as it was 18degrees outside and for some reason I knocked it upto 19degrees and it was still blowing cold air. I was a happy man  But I still have no idea why it didn't work for 7 months

i was thinking if you aren't getting any hot air, do the cars have a heater matrix behind the dash where by when the engine is up to temperature, warm water from the engine cooling system is pumped into the matrix and the fan blows air over it, thus heating it. Could it be either a faulty switch that isn't allowing the water into the matrix or a blocked pipe?

The source of heat is the engine coolant. Once the engine is up to temperature you should have heat. First thing to check is your coolant level. If you're low on coolant the heater matrix doesn't get any.

Next, do you have climate control or manual temperature control. If manual, check the bowden cable to the temperature control flap. If climate control, check the motorised flap. I think this can be done from the climatronic screen.
