depends on the map and what stage its mapped too, youll see around 10bhp less due to not having dp and cat, which usually allows stage 2 map, so based on stage 1 map witht hose mods, around 215bhp

ko4 hybrid should see 280-290 with the right supporting mods, which needs more than just bam injectors

k04-001 is a borg warner turbo = k03s

with those mods you will see around 220bhp max

the DP and cat are the restrictions here

and with a remap, on this turbo with the mods you have, you wont need 225 injectors, you will keep the standard ones

are you confusing the k04-001 with a proper K04 BAM engine turbo? if so, its not a direct bolt on. The mani needs changing and so does the charge pipe work to FMIC

no i know the differense on k04-001 and k04-015 and 23

What need to be done to reach 230 with k03s then ?

a sustained and true 230.....

with the mods you have, a turbo back exhaust and FMIC will be needed. that should see 230

bigger dp and sports cat should max it out to around 235-240. fmic is optional at getting these figures but youll need it come the summer temps.

not much more can be had off this turbo

technically no its not needed, but would be pretty silly to run this sort of power without one

it would drive like a diesel with power tailing off sharply at around 4500 due to heat soak from a few spirited bursts.

I would strongly advise anyone getting an FMIC if they have these kind of modifications and want to run this sort of power.....otherwise you are not getting the best from your setup

Ran mine at 242bhp for a year without the fmic. power held till 5.5kish (jabba mapping) and generally coped well as a daily driver.
But prolonged sprited driving in the summer would make a difference. The powerband stayed the same... just less power. So yes FMIC is a worthwhile purchase but i personally wouldnt say needed for stage 2 at the point of mapping, more a worthwhile add on.

daily driver yes, but if giving it some which we all do on a mapped car, it will soon start to pull back

personally if it was me, I like the optimum setup:)

Im getting a 3" Downpipe with race-cat!

Would i see any gains with fitting an exhaust mani as well?

Thinking of going k03 hybrid sometime next year, so are most likely to collect all the parts needed over time.

But would it be best to add Manifold before or after stage 2 remap?
