i have boost and oil temp. Find it very useful for all manner of reasons. Def' go with those to. I have autoguage from halfords. Work well and simple. They have a button to change the illumination colour and the red is a very good match for the leon. Cant help on whether the pillars look oem as i have another make but if you google nomad pillars you will find the site to get them from.

Defi guages are nice but mege expensive, the autogauge one's will do the same job.

Dolby has got Defi guages.

Nomad twin pillar pod with the Halfords Boost and Oil Temp Auto Gauges.
I've heard, however that the oil temp gauge has been discontinued by Halfords.
You might have to go the eBay route.

i have found some gauges i may buy from ebay, they look similar to the defi style, but alot cheaper, i noticed on one of the reviews of the pillar pod that it seems hard to fit??? Also where about do the gauges fit are they close to the dash or up in your face?

They'd have to be free to be 'a lot' cheaper than the Auto-Gauge ones, Nomad Pillar-Pods really could'nt be any easier to fit.
Here's a pic that should give you a rough idea of the positioning.

I'm looking in to getting one of these pillar pods and gauges soon too, but after reading some reviews, most people seem to say that the Nomad one isn't too greater fit and is actually really difficult to get to stay in place because it comes with velcro as a form of fitting/fixing!? Is this true and if so, are there any other types of pillar pods you guys would recommend?

The Nomad ones are the only ones I know of but I suppose there must be others. I've now had two, one single and now a double any they both fixed in with the self tapping screw and cover supplied. The cover is one of those caps a bit like we have on number plate screws. When you remove the OEM pillar cover you'll see the original yellow fixings, I just screwed the self tapper into one of those and it's been fine.

The Nomad one is the most OE looking one,
Thay can be a bit of a pain to fit, thay now come with a self tapping screw rather than the velcro.

Arh, now the self taper idea sounds a lot more appealing than the velcro. At least it wont fall off while i"m driving along that way! Might give one a go then and see what happens...
