yep its when you come off acceleration, when in neutral best sound on mine is about 3500rpm and when driving its about 2500-3000rpm... makes it at other rpm's but there the best sounds on mine

took the car in to infinity (after taking rich to JBS and collecting his hybrid cupra up) and had my cat removed.

it is sooooo loud (maybe too loud?:shocked

I think there are two variables in this, the first being the turbo.

I've never heard a PD100 make this noise, but cars runnign similar setups on the same turbo often produce different results too.

The second, and which i think is more likely the case, is the exhaust. I think its down to the shape of the exhaust, and the bends.
The leons always seem to make the noise louder than the ibiza's. They have a longer straight section at the end of the exhaust. I think this is the reason why.

as you can hear there is not any pigeon in my car but....... there is when i change from second to third so its strange i think its just going to be in difference spots for me

ah so this is the "pidgeon noise" i like that sound haha, aslo if you do still want a dump valve, Forge actually make one for diesels, but its quite expensive for a part that has no performance gains.

So is this possible to get from an ASV 110 or is only for PD engines really?

i like what youve done to yours, from the signature anyway, thats what i want, but im unsure how to go about it, but i know i want this 'mufflerectemy',

opinions on de-cat aswell? is it worth it, more bhp? More noise? both?

i have a quite loud noise when i let off and my car is standard apart from a green cotton panel filter and drilled airbox, i can only hear the noise when i let off the accelerator before the turbo comes on boost, if i let off when im on boost then the noise isnt as loud
