Hi all
can anyone help me I want to put a pair of heavy gauge wires thru the firewall? From battery to passenger, footwell has anyone done this sort of thing, as I am new to the Leon
I have had a quick look but not sure, of the way to route the wires without pulling things out unless I have to pull things out

A young

I've not done it on a Leon but did put a wire through the bulkhead of a Pug 306. I basically lifted the passenger carpet and drilled a hole through into the engine bay (making sure theres nothing to hit on the other side!!), put a rubber grommit and push the wire through, then its a case of feeding the wire to wherever you want it to go, and refitting the carpet.

I'm sure theres people on here that are more technically minded than me to explain it better though!!

The way to put silicone pipes to the interior of the car is through the big rubber flange behind the battery. You must remove the battery and you'll notice the bunch of cables going through the rubber flange I am talking about. Make a small cut to the rubber and slide your pipes through there. Take care when routing the pipes near the gear shifting brackets and wires (to the right below the battery).

PS. If you have Revo installed do not unplug the battery unless you are near the dealer

Because as the local Revo dealer told me - if you unplug the battery the ECU resets to default which means stock map = no Revo. Then you need to go back to the Revo dealer and re-install it. When I installed my gauge I kept the battery connected, just put it aside and did the installation but it was harder to work this way.

only if you unplug the battery for longer than a certain period of time.

Revo will still be on there either way, but the fuel, timing, and boost will all reset to 0.
