The aero blades can be bought to fit the regular "hook" arms.

Hi all,

I need to replace my rear wiper but it seems it's not the standard one? Shorter than the normal wiper and the blade is just attached to the arm with no bracing. Any ideas what it might be from as I need to know to get a new blade!

Thanks

For the aero arms?
If so i returned them as the passenger side never had the offset pin, so they never fitted even though they were a "direct fit" lol.

How do you mean "rubs the window"?

Yeah will probably be fine with a good clean.

Lately when I've been polishing my car I've started polishing my windscreen too - even though the Mer bottle says not too - but I've found that as long as I remove all the polish properly the results are just brilliant - the rain streams off the window and no need for wipers if you drive fast enough! :D

i've got the aero wipers with standard hook arm

i had the arms up when cleaning the car one day
jet wash caught arm/wiper blade and it fell back into place

however, there is a little metal bit on the wiper blade (in the centre) and that made contact with the windscreen....

...... HUGE CRACK!

ooops, time for a new wind screen

be careful if you do get them!

If you think that it is a design fault then you should probably raise this with Bosch. I haven't noticed this before - will check the blade as to your description when I get a chance.
