I have learned to live with my average 41-42MPG from my FR TDI doing mostly motorway driving, but this last week its dropped to around 30-32 now that seems more than seasonal variation. I have checked the tires and always use millers and have no idea why it suddenly drop so low?

Nope not at all think i have basically struck most of what is user error and in feed up of francis seat telling my anything about 30MPG is good for a diesal

Could be DPF is getting full or a faulty sensor.

Had a sensor replace beginning part of the year on the DPF though have had the fault codes read recently and nothing has come up other than my faulty bluetooth module

Is this a manual calculation or from the computer? If from the computer try calculating it manually and see if it's the same.

Bear in mind that weather also has an impact - if it's raining then I get between 5 and 8 MPG less than normal on my work run!
