You can use either but manual states 5w-30.
More important to get a good brand like Millers, Mobil1 or Castrol.

5W40 fully synthetic and change it every 6000 miles. Millers, Comma, Fuchs, Unipart, Valvoline are all good. If you're buying Mobil 1, you're paying for the name rather than the product. I don't like being an advertising manager's dream come true so I stay away from so called "big brands".

Vavoline and Mobile 1 pretty much same same price here in Sweden. These guys claiming that 0w-30 is the only correct oil has been proven wrong before. Do a search.

Believe me your not paying for the name with Mobil1. Your paying for the best oil money can buy.

0w/30 has more viscosity modifiers than a 5w/30, so a 0w/30 has less base stock in the blend.

504.00/507.00 5w/30 is the correct oil for the UK. :)

I didnt think £40 for 5lts of mobil 1 0w-40 was bad value. £8 per ltr.I dont call that over priced for a high quality fully synthetic oil.
