Car is back on the road.

Done a repair on the wiring.

Had to buy a whole engine wiring harness for the car, got it a bit cheaper from a scrappy, only 115 all in.

Cant seem to buy the terminal and wire anywhere, even the seat tech's dont have that part. So cut off that small part from the harness.

Done a crappy repair on the wire, really found it difficult to solder, big strands of copper wire.

Good stuff Dan, glad you've got it running again. Just went through the whole thread and as you know I'm one jealous b*****d. Track day wheels look the nuts - but I've got to agree with your sleeper policy (although I'd go for some poverty badging)...

And to anyone else reading this, I have sat in the beast whilst on full chat and you have no idea. Really. Words can't do it any justice, nevermind numbers.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers mate,

although still do have an underlying issue with fuel trims. The car is either running rich, or it thinks it is running rich, so it is pulling back fuel.
Really need to get it sorted this week for lydden!

Well the Long term fuel trims are running very negative. Reset the adaptations and it zero's but then the bank 1 lambdda control is telling the fuel trims to return to a highly negative state (upto -25%). When it reaches a high negative state like -21, the ECU starts pulling back timing by the max -12 degree's.

Basically, the car is either running very rich, or something is telling the car its running rich in error, so the ECU tries to pull back fueling with the negative fuel trims.

Good news today though. Im going down to APR delaer tuningwerkes in croydon on Friday to get flashed with a new software code. If that doesnt solve it, they are going to replace the pre-cat 02 sensor on saturday which ive got here.

So fingures crossed its finally happy by the weekend.

thanks.

Unlucky? tell me about it...

Today it has started missfiring on all cylinders (not always at the same time)under load. Ive done four journeys today, and it only happened on two.. very odd.

hell no, im not paying anyone to fix it.

I got some new software yesterday, not sure if its as bad, but there is a still a problem.

Also changed the pre-cat 02 sensor. no change there.

MAF next I think, need to find one to borrow off someone for a test, before I buy one!

I reckon it'll be ok for my session at lydden tommorow.
