Got a cupra backbox fitted!

As the title says, i got this fitteed today & love look it gives my DAB, but my only gripe is i want it to sit higher up into the lower spoiler in the bumper.

Anyone done this with a DAB or sport & how did u manage to get it to sit higher?

Sorry I can't help with the position issue, (I would take it to an exhaust shop!) just wondering, does the car feel/sound any different with this backbox? Or is it purely cosmetic?

It was fitted by a custom place near me, they said it couldnt be done unless they started to fiddle with the exhust & if that was the case i'd be better getting a custom job!

It does make a difference in the note coming out the back now,. a bit deeper than the standard one but not to loud!

I'm sure i've seen someone on here fitting a cupra exhust to a DAB? anyone? lol

exact same happened to me, look thru my readers ride towards the end pages.....put a cupra backbox on and it was in place but was sitting way too low, got my bro to clamp it up for me

Just had a wee read there m8, how'd u manage to get it to clamp up? does it not hit off the underside of the car now?

Plus you got a cupra bumper fitted, mines only the standard one with the bit for the exhaust cut out.

im not sure m8 just let him do it..... just look about under the car and srr what u could clamp over, let us see a pic of how its sittting now

i fitted an diesel FR exhaust to my 1.4 se if that helps? my mate made an adapter for it and fitted like it was standard
