Thats it.All hubs painted silver now.
Looks alot better than the rusty bits.Just need to see how long it lasts.
Also wish I had time to paint the calipers red at the same time as I had wheels off.Project for my next 9 days off though.
Front discs didnt want to come off.The caliper came off ok but the mounting piece needed removing to enable discs to be removed and bolts were really stuck fast so had to paint these inplace. There's enough room to get the rear discs out without removing this piece. So happy days.

How many coats did you put on then matey, did they take much preparation, long to dry etc?? Any pics would be great.

As it happens I have the next week off work so I thought it would be a good time to paint the discs (silver) and hopefully callipers (red). I then thought that seen as I had the wheels off (waiting for the paint to dry) it would be a good opportunity to give them a proper clean, polish/wax and seal to protect them....... been meaning to do this for a while just haven’t got round to doing it yet. Ordered some stuff on Tues so will hopefully be here tomorrow. Anyone else had any experience with the Klasse all in one or Carlack 68 as it is over here in the U.K? Finishing off with some poorboys wheel sealant which I have read gives some pretty good results.

Just rubbed em' down with fine sand paper.Tried a couple of coats for a start.Gave it a couple of hours between coats. No pics at the moment but will get around to it.
Good idea to wash the wheels off.Sounds like your allot more fussy than me with wheels.I washed mine off though.

Hammerite is touch dry in 2 hours so I will use that for the discs.
65coupe' If I have such limited intelligence then I assure you I would not be an explosives superviser. Its just that I've never seen the red anywhere round here.

Dude, that's my signature - it's meant to refer to me, not anyone else...:D
