Sorry to be a pain as I know the topic of induction kits has been covered extensively, but through about half an hour of searching I'm still none the wiser!

What is the best induction to get for this car? I'd like a bit of grunt but nothing too loud, and a bit of throttle response.

I don't mind paying alot if it's worth it; I've heard good things about the BMC CDA. Is this noticably much better than PiperX etc? Are there any others worth a look?

Ive got a bmc cda and im very happy with it, even more happy that i paid a third of the retail price by snooping around ebay for a few weeks!

The car feels much more responsive with it fitted and when teamed with my cat back exhaust makes an awesome deep sound!

Seat have used the kit themselves with the ibiza force limited edition in greece, google it for more info.

iv got the exact same set up as nate03, with the bmc cda induction kit and cat back exhaust system and it does do the job. i paid £155 for mine though but if you want the best you have to pay the most, well most of the time you do lol (unless you find one on ebay that is)

Sounds good. Yes the only thing that puts me off the BMC slightly is the price, 200 give or take for an induction does seem alot... but I certainly would like that bit more throttle response.

yes mate, thats the same site and same kit which i bought. it comes with everything you need to fit it. i did buy a universal air breather filter off ebay too which you'll need to buy but i got one for about £3, i got a 12mm one but i had to cut abit away to make it fit so maybe best getting a 15mm one.

you need one to stop the pipe getting clogged up otherwise its just left hanging there, i just tie rapped my to the induction kit so its up right.

as for getting cold air to it, you do get a cold air feed with the kit. iv got it coming from the filter down towards the fog light but it doesn't strech right to the front of the bumper. you can buy the same cold air feed off ebay for about £7 so i might get one and join them together and have one big feed.
