Also uses upper downpipe to merge GT turbo with downpipe made for stock K03 turbo

It says it does...

Looks like a nice kit tbh. QUite a price tag on it but if you have to money this might be a nice upgrade.

You'll need different injectors as well and 3" maf to get out the power

my brother had a GT2X kit on his Octavia and it was a piece of ****. he sent it off to TD for a rebuild and after taking it apart they refused to put it back together again because it was of such low quality - they didn't want to be held accountable for what would have happened once it was refitted...

my advice is steer well clear

my experience and as others have already said, quality is very poor

the kit far is from being a "bolt on" and will only give you a severe headache when trying to fit

if you are prepared to fit it yourself then have a go, but be prepared to be swapping over half the kit i.e. silicon hoses as they are the cheapest of quality that come with the kit and flex/collapse quite easily

certianly mine did that came with my gt2x kit.....and I doubt they have corrected this issue

someone please prove me wrong and I will be happy to retract my comments, but until that day comes, my opinion of ATP and their products is very poor

No one has tried this one bill, its the mk2 version. Looks really interesting imo.

I did'nt notice it say mk2 kit in the post phil

The facts its got ATP associated with it makes me walk the other way.
abysmal quality at times

I totally agree with teh quality thing, but i like the solution, its very similar to the Kinetic kit in terms of design (which i wished fitted RHD cars.)

So basically uses the T25 flanged and 4 bolt exhaust hosuing turbos.

Thats a cheap setup imo as the up pipe is $250 and the connecting pipe is £250 as well.

Its cheap innit, which probably means you'll have a host of problems. At least you'd have a proper turbo if you ever want to change up to a proper manifold and downpipe.

1200 quid for the kit is seriously good money.

indeed it is, but you have to ask yourself WHY it is so cheap?

from prime experience, dealing with and trying to run ATP products, buy cheap, buy twice

there are more bad than good opinions out there regarding the gt2x kit (just as a comparison). Money talks

trying to decide wether to go with this kit or not... it seems theirs mixed opinions from people who know what there talking about.

when you say it will be laggy Bill, how bad?

also will my miltek downpipe be able to cope with 300 odd brake?

many here in norway have the gt28rs turbo on audi a4 and have no problems.but the gt2x kit is known for its **** quality.

I know this seems like a really daft suggestion, but I think the INA kit will be almost ready...well I bloody hope so by now

perhaps re-ignite that post in his section to see where he is at with it?

what's this kit supposed to deliver power wise?

more importantly, what is the cost/performance/reliability ratio?

It seems to me the the kit costing just shy of 1900 dollars, then TIP, maf, injectors and map (which leaves you brakes, flywheel, and important to mention: handling) you'll be looking at a serious amount of cash.

Now if this got you well over 300 bhp it might be worth it. But if it doesn't then going hybrid on your k03 (which you already have) getting you a solid 270+ figure, then I would know what my preference would be

laggy relates to their first cobble.. in k0x sized housings..
this is different..

stock exhaust manifold..?
then up pipe to turbo
then turbo
then downpipe link pipe (O2 pipe)

hmmm

how much of that wont fit right like usual..

someone can buy it, i'll have a go fitting it, and mapping it, and we can find out.
is it a cheap 300+bhp kit or a pile of poo... answers on a postcard

any volunteers to be guinee pig?
