Rear Wiper Removal

I read before on here someone had got hold of, or was getting a glass circle to fit in place of a halfords style rubber grommet that most people use to plug the hole left by removing the rear wiper.

However I couldnt dig this up anywhere, anyone got any clues?

Thats thats doing the job at the moment, i was just curious to see what sort of thing it was this guy was on about... I think the bung looks a bit poo.

TBH, where the bung is, you can't see it from the inside due to a bulky plastic piece

or you could measure it and get someone to laser cut it out of clear acrylic? i might give this a go actually, take advantage of the uni's machinery i could probably put a little seat logo on there aswell and just do a few blank ones. depending on peoples preferances that is. so if someone fancies getting the dimensions for me as i'm away from my car

I measured mine and its 3.76mm in depth.


Not worth the hassle, just buy a rubber bung, and fill the hole in your rear end!

Yeah ive got one at the moment pal, just wondering where to get a glass one and how much for etc.... bit more expensive than i thought though. so ill be sticking witht the rubber one.

i just used a 25mm bung and it was perfect. so did davidsonley1. he put a bit of glue to make sure it doesn't leak, and again, a good fit without any problems

i dont use it that much, and don't really miss having it, you've still got side mirrors if you cant see out the back, and if you cant see out the back you know your car needs cleaning
