Cant decide wheater to remove my 'Ibiza' side strip or not, think they look a bit naff?

Ideas anyone?

getb rid of the whole side strip but will you have to do any smoothing out or is it just stuck on?

Just stuck on i think pal so not to hard. ive just de badged and dewiperd the back too and am in the process of doing my front and back s badges black so i think i'll just whack them off to make it look a bit cleaner... :D

No mat, got them from SEAT dealer when the car was bought new (well my mam did before i took it off her hands) cant say ive seen them before on a MK3 either though, fair few MK2's. maybe they are MK2 ones, cheeky salesman. :shrug:

not seen mk2s with em on either! always said how strange it was that mk 2 and 3 didn't have them but they did put em on mk4. Think they realised they looked gash and left em off the mk5

WOW, another mk 3 that had them on, i took mine off, they're just stuck on with a sh*t load of glue, so get a hairdryer a bit of tar remover and a card, and be prepared to spend a bit of time doing it. i presume mine were on from new because when i took mine off it left a white "milk" line all across the side of my car :( and nothing will get rid of it!!

so i'd just peel the front one off, the little chunk on the front wing, and check if your paint has gone funny underneath before taking them off

Yeah, that looks alot better with them off! It is canny obvious too! might not be as bad on mine though as its black.... but ill check first for sure! :D
