Long time no posts, so I must be happy. ;)Just about every fault I have ever had with my cupras, cupra R's and FR's has been seen, commented on, advised on - and generally put to bed by this forum:D. But I am being driven to distraction by a loud click when I lift off from the accelerator pedal. It doesn't happen when I release it slowly, but every gear change is accompanied by the click:(. Anyone had it, heard it - cured it? The car goes back to the dealers on Saturday for replacement foglight (not just misted, but FILLED with water) and a rear window which won't go back up. It's a new Leon FR btw.

I had the same clicking noise from the eccelerator pedal, it was replaced under warranty, but the new one makes the same noise, just have to put up with it.

Upgrade to a set of cupra ones & make the interior a nicer place

Forgot to say the car is a Cupra K1, nothing wrong with the way the pedal looks, it's the clicking noise that irritates.

It actually sounds like a switch. I mentioned it in passing to a dealer (not my dealer) who just looked at the way the accelerator pedal has been fitted (i.e. the plastic lugs located). As I said - it is going back for a foggy on Saturday, I will ring them and warn them. I suspect replacing the pedal is a cheaper option than replacing the sender unit. As one reply mentions, changng the pedal didn't cure it, so I assume it is the sender unit it operates. It doesn't sound like a common problem (unlike the wet foglights!). Overall though - fairly pleased with the car. It needs a remap though. ;)
