turbo for my ibiza 16s

i just bought a ibiza 1.6 sport its quick but i want it faster and i want to put a turbo on it, is it possible to put a conversion kit on it? and if so what else would i need to do?

you'll get told this a lot.....buy a 1.8T or just buy a cupra, it'll be cheaper to buy it, cheaper to insure and probably cheaper to run

yeah thats what i was thinking its jus its cheap on the insurance but im only 19 so the insurance just take the pi** on the bigger sized engines that why i bought the 1.6 s, oh well dont matter i might get the ecu chipped and put a cat back exhaust on her,

I had my 1.8T cupra when I was 19, didn't cost as much as I thought it would actually, that was with elephant surprisingly!

Insurance would proberbly charge you more to insure a 1.6 turbo conversion than a cupra though

I concur, just wait until to can get a decent insurance quote on a cupra, will save to time and money in the long run

Its a stupid amount of work and effort let alone the cost if you're not doing it yourself. Wouldnt even bother with a remap dude, not for 8-10bhp, a decent service, zaust and filter will see you right. Then just bide your time and save your pennies!
